Welcome to the Expatriate Arab Engineers 1st International Convention
The Expatriate Arab Engineers 1st International Convention is organized by the Federation of Arab Engineers (FAE) in collaboration of the Order of Tunisian Engineers and will be held in Tunis from 28th April to 2nd May 2008.
This great event will be held under the patronage of H. E the President of Tunisian Republic, Zine El Abine BEN ALI and will regroup prestigious Arab Engineers Internationally well-known with their competences in scientific areas and their successful stories in enterprise management.
It is expected the participation of about 300 eminent Arab competences and of international notorieties in the engineering fields.
This symposium aims for :
Inciting the expatriate engineers to invest in the Arab countries by presenting the various legislations settled up to facilitate such projects.
Working on transferring the leading-edge technologies, acquired by the expatriate engineers, with the Arab countries.
Enhancing the possibilities of collaboration between the expatriate engineers and those acting in the Arab countries, like physical person, institutions or organizations of engineers.
This Expatriate Arab Engineers Convention will be honoured by the presence of personalities such as :
M. Amr Moussa : General Secretary of the Arab States League. M. Koïchiro Matsuura : General Manager of UNESCO. M. Barry Grear : President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO). M. Carlos Slim : Multimillionaire Mexican business man originated from Lebanon, with worldwide enterprises specialised in the fields of ICT and finances. M. Ahmed Zweil : Doctor engineer from Egypt, Nobel prize of Chemistry.
Will be also present at this international event, number of tunisian and arab ministers.
Parallel technology exchange Exhibition will take place in the same hotel from 28th to 30th april 2008. Famous companies and firms operating in the fields of industries, services and the ICT from inside and outside Arab countries will take part in this exhibition.
The 1st and the 2nd may 2008 will be dedicated to some touristic, industrial and technological site tour.
